^26:3And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, ^26:4“Take a census of the people from twenty years old and upward, as Jehovah commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.”

^26:5Reuben, the oldest son of Israel; the children of Reuben: Hanoch, of whom comes the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites; ^26:6of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites. ^26:7These are the families of the Reubenites; and they that were counted of them were forty-three thousand, seven hundred and thirty; ^26:8and the sons of Pallu: Eliab; ^26:9and the sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. (This is the same Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who contended against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against Jehovah; ^26:10and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, and when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign. ^26:11Notwithstanding the children of Korah did not die.) ^26:12The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites; ^26:13of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites. ^26:14These are the families of the Simeonites: twenty-two thousand, two hundred. ^26:15The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites; ^26:16of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites; ^26:17of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites. ^26:18These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were counted of them: forty thousand, five hundred. ^26:19The sons of Judah were Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. ^26:20And the sons of Judah after their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; ^26:21of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites; of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites. And the sons of Pharez: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites. ^26:22These are the families of Judah according to those that were counted of them: seventy-six thousand, five hundred. ^26:23The sons of Issachar after their families: Tola, the family of the Tolaites; Pua, the family of the Punites; ^26:24of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites. ^26:25These are the families of Issachar according to those that were counted of them: sixty-four thousand, three hundred. ^26:26The sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites. ^26:27These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were counted of them: sixty thousand, five hundred. ^26:28The sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim. ^26:29Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Gilead: of Gilead comes the family of the Gileadites. ^26:30These are the sons of Gilead: Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites; ^26:31and Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and Shechem, the family of the Shechemites; ^26:32and Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and Hepher, the family of the Hepherites. ^26:33And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. ^26:34These are the families of Manasseh, and those that were counted of them: fifty-two thousand, seven hundred. ^26:35These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites; of Becher, the family of the Bachrites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites. ^26:36And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites. ^26:37These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were counted of them: thirty-two thousand, five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families. ^26:38The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites; ^26:39of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites. ^26:40And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites. ^26:41These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and they that were counted of them were forty-five thousand, six hundred. ^26:42These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families. ^26:43All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were counted of them, were sixty-four thousand, four hundred. ^26:44The children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites; of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites. ^26:45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites. ^26:46And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah. ^26:47These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were counted of them: fifty-three thousand, four hundred. ^26:48The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites; ^26:49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites. ^26:50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and they that were counted of them were forty-five thousand, four hundred. ^26:51These were the ones counted of the children of Israel: six hundred and one thousand, seven hundred and thirty.

^26:52And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^26:53“The land shall be divided to these families for an inheritance according to the number of names. ^26:54To many you shall give the more inheritance, and to few you shall give the less inheritance; to every one his inheritance shall be given according to those that were counted of him.

^26:55Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers shall they inherit. ^26:56According to the lot shall the possession of it be divided between many and few.”

¶Opposite   But only two of the original Israelites survived the 40 year journey of Israel through the wilderness (26:57 - 65)

^26:57And these are they that were counted of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites. ^26:58These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites.

And Kohath begot Amram; ^26:59and the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bore to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron, Moses, and Miriam their sister. ^26:60And to Aaron was born Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. ^26:61And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before Jehovah. ^26:62And those that were counted of them were twenty-three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not counted among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

^26:63These are they that were counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

^26:64But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest counted, when they counted the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai: ^26:65for Jehovah had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.”

And not a man was left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

^27:1Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

^27:2And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation, saying, ^27:3“Our father died in the wilderness. And he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against Jehovah in the company of Korah, but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

^27:4Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he has no son? Give us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.”

^27:5And Moses brought their cause before Jehovah;

^27:6and Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ^27:7“The daughters of Zelophehad speak right. You shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.

¶Opposite   Jehovah established Statutes for passing an inheritance from the dead to the living (27:8 - 11)

^27:8And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a man dies, and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.

^27:9And if he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brethren.

^27:10And if he has no brethren, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brethren.

^27:11And if his father has no brethren, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it.

And it shall be a Statute of judgment to the children of Israel, as Jehovah commanded Moses.’”

¶Complement   Jehovah commanded Moses to go up into Mount Abarim to die (27:12 - 14)

^27:12And Jehovah said to Moses, “Go up into this mount Abarim;

and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel;

^27:13and when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.

^27:14For you rebelled against my command in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes.”

(That is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

¶Complement   Moses asked Jehovah to choose a man to replace him as the leader of Israel (27:15 - 20)

^27:15And Moses spoke to Jehovah, saying, ^27:16“Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation;

^27:17which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in;

that the congregation of Jehovah be not as sheep which have no shepherd.”

^27:18And Jehovah said to Moses, “Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand upon him.

^27:19And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight; ^27:20and you shall put some of your honor upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.

¶Unique   Moses commissioned Joshua as the new leader and commander of Israel (27:21 - 23)

^27:21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before Jehovah.

 At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in: both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.”

^27:22And Moses did as Jehovah commanded him.

And he took Joshua; and he set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation.

^27:23And he laid his hands upon him; and he gave him a charge, as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses.

^28:1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, “Command the children of Israel; and say unto them, ^28:2‘My offering and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire shall you observe to offer to me in their due season, for a sweet aroma to me.’ ^28:3And you shall say to them: ‘This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to Jehovah: two lambs of the first year without spot, day by day, for a continual burnt offering. ^28:4You shall offer one lamb in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at evening; ^28:5and you shall offer a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meal offering, mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil. ^28:6It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet aroma, a sacrifice made by fire to Jehovah. ^28:7And its drink offering shall be the fourth part of a hin for one lamb. You shall cause the strong wine to be poured to Jehovah for a drink offering in the holy place. ^28:8And you shall offer the other lamb at evening; as the meal offering of the morning, and as its drink offering, you shall offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah. ^28:9And on the Sabbath day you shall offer two lambs of the first year without spot; and two tenth deals of flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and its drink offering. ^28:10This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

^28:11And in the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to Jehovah: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without spot; ^28:12and three tenth deals of flour mingled with oil for a meal offering for one bull; and two tenth deals of flour mingled with oil for a meal offering for one ram; ^28:13and a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meal offering to one lamb: for a burnt offering of a sweet aroma, a sacrifice made by fire to Jehovah. ^28:14And their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine to a bull, and the third part of a hin to a ram, and a fourth part of a hin to a lamb. This is the burnt offering of every month, throughout the months of the year. ^28:15And one kid of the goats for a sin offering to Jehovah shall be offered; beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

^28:16And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of Jehovah.

^28:17And in the fifteenth day of this month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten. ^28:18In the first day shall be a holy assembly. You shall do no manner of work of service in it. ^28:19But you shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering to Jehovah: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year (they shall be to you without blemish); ^28:20and their meal offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: you shall offer three tenth deals for a bull, and two tenth deals for a ram; ^28:21you shall offer a several tenth deal for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs; ^28:22and one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you. ^28:23You shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering. ^28:24After this manner you shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meal of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah; it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering. ^28:25And on the seventh day you shall have a holy assembly; and you shall do no work of service.

^28:26Also in the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new meal offering to Jehovah, after your seven weeks are completed, you shall have a holy assembly. You shall do no work of service. ^28:27But you shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet aroma to Jehovah: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year; ^28:28and their meal offering of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals to one bull, two tenth deals to one ram, ^28:29a several tenth deal to one lamb, throughout the seven lambs; ^28:30and one kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you. ^28:31You shall offer them beside the continual burnt offering, and his meal offering (they shall be to you without blemish), and their drink offerings.

^29:1And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy assembly. You shall do no work of service. It is a day of blowing the trumpets to you. ^29:2And you shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet aroma to Jehovah: one young bull, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish. ^29:3And their meal offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals for a young bull, two tenth deals for a ram; ^29:4and one tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs; ^29:5and one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you; ^29:6beside the burnt offering of the month, and his meal offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his meal offering, and their drink offerings, according to their prescribed manner, for a sweet aroma: a sacrifice made by fire to Jehovah.

^29:7And you shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month a holy assembly. And you shall afflict your souls; you shall do no work in it. ^29:8But you shall offer a burnt offering to Jehovah for a sweet aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year (they shall be to you without blemish); ^29:9and their meal offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals to a bull, two tenth deals to one ram; ^29:10and a several tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs; ^29:11one kid of the goats for a sin offering, beside the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings.

^29:12And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, you shall have a holy assembly. You shall do no work of service. And you shall keep a feast to Jehovah seven days.

^29:13And you shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year (they shall be without blemish). ^29:14And their meal offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals to every bull of the thirteen bulls, two tenth deals to each ram of the two rams, ^29:15and a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs; ^29:16and one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^29:17And on the second day you shall offer twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without spot. ^29:18And their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner; ^29:19and one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and its meal offering, and their drink offerings. ^29:20And on the third day eleven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish; ^29:21and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner; ^29:22and one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^29:23And on the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish; ^29:24their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner; ^29:25and one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^29:26And on the fifth day nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without spot; ^29:27and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner; ^29:28and one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^29:29And on the sixth day eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish; ^29:30and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner; ^29:31and one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^29:32And on the seventh day seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish; ^29:33and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner; ^29:34and one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meal offering, and his drink offering. ^29:35On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly; you shall do no work of service in it; ^29:36but you shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah: one bull, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish. ^29:37Their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the prescribed manner. ^29:38And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meal offering, and his drink offering.

^29:39These things shall you do to Jehovah in your appointed feasts, beside your vows and your freewill offerings; for your burnt offerings, and for your meal offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.’” ^29:40And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses.

(Éstos son aquel Datán y Abiram, que eran famosos en la congregación, que se rebelaron contra Moisés y Aarón con el grupo de Coré, cuando se rebelaron contra Jehová, ^26:10y la tierra abrió su boca y los tragó a ellos y a Coré, cuando aquel grupo murió, cuando consumió el fuego a doscientos cincuenta varones, los cuales fueron por señal. ^26:11Pero los hijos de Coré no murieron.) ^26:12Los hijos de Simeón por sus familias: de Nemuel, la familia de los nemuelitas; de Jamín, la familia de los jaminitas; de Jaquín, la familia de los jaquinitas; ^26:13de Zera, la familia de los zeraítas; de Saul, la familia de los saulitas. ^26:14Éstas son las familias de los simeonitas, veintidós mil doscientos. ^26:15Los hijos de Gad por sus familias: de Zefón, la familia de los zefonitas; de Hagui, la familia de los haguitas; de Suni, la familia de los sunitas; ^26:16de Ozni, la familia de los oznitas; de Eri, la familia de los eritas; ^26:17de Arod, la familia de los aroditas; de Areli, la familia de los arelitas. ^26:18Éstas son las familias de Gad, por sus contados, cuarenta mil quinientos. ^26:19Los hijos de Judá: Er y Onán; y Er y Onán murieron en la tierra de Canaán. ^26:20Y fueron los hijos de Judá por sus familias; de Sela, la familia de los selaítas; de Fares, la familia de los faresitas; de Zera, la familia de los zeraítas. ^26:21Y fueron los hijos de Fares: de Hezrón, la familia de los hezronitas; de Hamul, la familia de los hamulitas. ^26:22Éstas son las familias de Judá, por sus contados, setenta y seis mil quinientos. ^26:23Los hijos de Isacar por sus familias: de Tola, la familia de los tolaítas; de Fúa la familia de los funitas; ^26:24de Jasub, la familia de los jasubitas; de Simrón, la familia de los simronitas. ^26:25Éstas son las familias de Isacar, por sus contados, sesenta y cuatro mil trescientos. ^26:26Los hijos de Zabulón por sus familias: de Sered, la familia de los sereditas; de Elón, la familia de los elonitas; de Jahleel, la familia de los jahleelitas. ^26:27Éstas son las familias de los zabulonitas, por sus contados, sesenta mil quinientos. ^26:28Los hijos de José por sus familias: Manasés y Efraín. ^26:29Los hijos de Manasés: de Maquir, la familia de los maquiritas; y Maquir engendró a Galaad; de Galaad, la familia de los galaaditas. ^26:30Éstos son los hijos de Galaad; de Jezer, la familia de los jezeritas; de Helec, la familia de los helequitas; ^26:31de Asriel, la familia de los asrielitas: de Siquem, la familia de los siquemitas; ^26:32de Semida, la familia de los semidaítas; de Hefer, la familia de los heferitas. ^26:33Y Zelofehad, hijo de Hefer, no tuvo hijos sino hijas; y los nombres de las hijas de Zelofehad fueron Maala, Noa, Hogla, Milca y Tirsa. ^26:34Éstas son las familias de Manasés; y sus contados, cincuenta y dos mil setecientos. ^26:35Éstos son los hijos de Efraín por sus familias; de Sutela, la familia de los sutelaítas; de Bequer, la familia de los bequeritas; de Tahán, la familia de los tahanitas. ^26:36Y éstos son los hijos de Sutela: de Herán, la familia de los heranitas. ^26:37Éstas son las familias de los hijos de Efraín, por sus contados, treinta y dos mil quinientos. Éstos son los hijos de José por sus familias. ^26:38Los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias: de Bela, la familia de los belaítas; de Asbel, la familia de los asbelitas; de Ahiram, la familia de los ahiramitas; ^26:39de Sufam, la familia de los sufamitas; de Hufam, la familia de los hufamitas. ^26:40Y los hijos de Bela fueron Ard y Naamán: de Ard, la familia de los arditas; de Naamán, la familia de los naamanitas. ^26:41Éstos son los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias; y sus contados, cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos. ^26:42Éstos son los hijos de Dan por sus familias: de Suham, la familia de los suhamitas. Éstas son las familias de Dan por sus familias. ^26:43Todas las familias de los suhamitas, por sus contados, sesenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos. ^26:44Los hijos de Aser por sus familias: de Imna, la familia de los imnaítas; de Isúi, la familia de los isuitas; de Bería, la familia de los beriaítas. ^26:45Los hijos de Bería; de Heber, la familia de los heberitas; de Malquiel, la familia de los malquielitas. ^26:46Y el nombre de la hija de Aser fue Sera. ^26:47Éstas son las familias de los hijos de Aser, por sus contados, cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos. ^26:48Los hijos de Neftalí por sus familias; de Jahzeel, la familia de los jahzeelitas; de Guni, la familia de los gunitas; ^26:49de Jezer, la familia de los jezeritas; de Silem, la familia de los silemitas. ^26:50Éstas son las familias de Neftalí por sus familias; y sus contados, cuarenta y cinco mil cuatrocientos. ^26:51Éstos son los contados de los hijos de Israel, seiscientos un mil setecientos treinta.

^26:52Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo, ^26:53“A éstos se repartirá la tierra en heredad, por la cuenta de los nombres. ^26:54A los más darás mayor heredad, y a los menos darás menor heredad; a cada uno se le dará su heredad conforme a sus contados.

^26:55Pero la tierra será repartida por suerte; y por los nombres de las tribus de sus padres heredarán. ^26:56Conforme a la suerte será repartida su heredad entre el grande y el pequeño”.

¶Lo opuesto   Pero solo dos de los israelitas originales sobrevivió al viaje de 40 años de Israel a través del desierto (26:57 - 65)

^26:57Y los contados de los levitas por sus familias son estos: de Gersón, la familia de los gersonitas; de Coat, la familia de los coatitas; de merari, la familia de los meraritas. ^26:58Éstas son las familias de los levitas: la familia de los libnitas, la familia de los hebronitas, la familia de los mahalitas, la familia de los musitas, la familia de los coreítas.

Y Coat engendró a Amram. ^26:59Y la esposa de Amram se llamó Jocabed, hija de Leví, la cual nació a Leví en Egipto; ésta dio a luz de Amram a Aarón y a Moisés, y a Miriam su hermana. ^26:60Y a Aarón nacieron Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar. ^26:61Pero Nadab y Abiú murieron, cuando ofrecieron fuego extraño delante de Jehová. ^26:62Y los contados de los levitas fueron veintitrés mil, todos varones de un mes para arriba: porque no fueron contados entre los hijos de Israel, por cuanto no les había de ser dada heredad entre los hijos de Israel.

^26:63Éstos son los contados por Moisés y Eleazar el sacerdote, los cuales contaron los hijos de Israel en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán frente a Jericó.

^26:64Y entre éstos ninguno hubo de los contados por Moisés y Aarón el sacerdote, los cuales contaron a los hijos de Israel en el desierto de Sinaí: ^26:65porque Jehová había dicho de ellos, “Seguramente morirán en el desierto”.

Y no quedó varón de ellos, sino Caleb hijo de Jefone, y Josué hijo de Nun.

^27:1Y las hijas de Zelofehad, hijo de Hefer, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de Manasés, hijo de José, los nombres de las cuales eran Maala, y Noa, y Hogla, y Milca, y Tirsa, llegaron.

^27:2Y se presentaron delante de Moisés, y delante del sacerdote Eleazar, y delante de los príncipes, y de toda la congregación, a la puerta del Tabernáculo de la congregación, y dijeron: ^27:3“Nuestro padre murió en el desierto; y el cual no estuvo en la junta que se reunió contra Jehová en la compañía de Coré, sino que en su pecado murió, y no tuvo hijos.

^27:4¿Por qué será quitado el nombre de nuestro padre de entre su familia, por no haber tenido hijo? Danos heredad entre los hermanos de nuestro padre”.

^27:5Y Moisés llevó su causa delante Jehová.

^27:6Y Jehová respondió a Moisés, diciendo, ^27:7“Bien dicen las hijas de Zelofehad. Ciertamente les darás posesión de una heredad entre los hermanos de su padre, y traspasarás la heredad de su padre a ellas.

¶Lo opuesto   Jehová estableció un Estatuto para pasar una herencia de los muertos a los vivos (27:8 - 11)

^27:8Y a los hijos de Israel hablarás, diciendo, ‘Cuando alguno muriere sin hijos, traspasaréis su herencia a su hija.

^27:9Y si no tuviere hija, daréis su herencia a sus hermanos.

^27:10Y si no tuviere hermanos, daréis su herencia a los hermanos de su padre.

^27:11Y si su padre no tuviere hermanos, daréis su herencia a su pariente más cercano de su linaje, el cual la poseerá’.

Y será a los hijos de Israel por Estatuto de derecho, como Jehová mandó a Moisés”.

^27:12Y Jehová dijo a Moisés, “Sube a este monte Abarim;

y verás la tierra que he dado a los hijos de Israel;

^27:13y después que la hayas visto, tú también serás reunido a tu pueblo, como fue reunido Aarón tu hermano.

^27:14Pues fuisteis rebeldes a mi mandato en el desierto de Zin, en la rencilla de la congregación, para santificarme en las aguas a ojos de ellos”.

^27:15Entonces respondió Moisés a Jehová, diciendo, ^27:16“Déjala que Jehová, el Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, ponga a un hombre sobre la congregación.

^27:17que salga delante de ellos, y que entre delante de ellos, que los saque y los introduzca;

para que la congregación de Jehová no sea como ovejas sin pastor”.

^27:18Y Jehová dijo a Moisés, “Toma a Josué hijo de Nun, varón en el cual está el Espíritu, y pondrás tu mano sobre él.

^27:19Y lo pondrás delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y delante de toda la congregación; y le darás órdenes en presencia de ellos. ^27:20Y pondrás de tu dignidad sobre él, para que toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel le obedezcan.

¶Único   Moisés comisionó a Josué como el nuevo líder y comandante de Israel (27:21 - 23)

^27:21Y él estará delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y a él preguntará por el juicio del Urim delante de Jehová.

A su palabra saldrán, y a su palabra entrarán, él, y todos los hijos de Israel con él, y toda la congregación”.

^27:22Y Moisés hizo como Jehová le había mandado.

Y tomó a Josué; y lo puso delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y de toda la congregación.

^27:23Y puso sobre él sus manos; y él le dio un cargo, como Jehová había mandado por mano de Moisés.

^28:1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo, ^28:2“Manda a los hijos de Israel, y diles, ‘Mi ofrenda, mi pan con mis ofrendas encendidas en olor a mí agradable, guardaréis, ofreciéndomelo a su tiempo’. ^28:3Y les dirás, ‘Ésta es la ofrenda encendida que ofreceréis a Jehová; dos corderos sin tacha de un año, cada día, por holocausto continuo. ^28:4Un cordero ofrecerás por la mañana, y el otro cordero ofrecerás entre las dos tardes; ^28:5y la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina, amasada con la cuarta parte de un hin de aceite molido, en presente. ^28:6Es holocausto continuo, que fue hecho en el monte de Sinaí en olor grato, ofrenda encendida a Jehová. ^28:7Y su libación, la cuarta parte de un hin con cada cordero; derramarás libación de vino superior a Jehová en el santuario. ^28:8Y ofrecerás el segundo cordero entre las dos tardes: conforme a la ofrenda de la mañana, y conforme a su libación ofrecerás, ofrenda encendida en olor grato a Jehová. ^28:9Pero el día del Sábado dos corderos de un año sin defecto, y dos décimas de flor de harina amasada con aceite, por presente, con su libación. ^28:10Es el holocausto del Sábado en cada Sábado, además del holocausto continuo y su libación.

^28:11Y en los principios de vuestros meses ofreceréis en holocausto a Jehová dos becerros de la vacada, y un carnero, y siete corderos de un año sin defecto; ^28:12y tres décimas de flor de harina amasada con aceite, por presente con cada becerro; y dos décimas de flor de harina amasada con aceite, por presente con cada carnero; ^28:13y una décima de flor de harina amasada con aceite, en ofrenda por presente con cada cordero; holocausto de olor grato, ofrenda encendida a Jehová. ^28:14Y sus libaciones de vino, medio hin con cada becerro, y la tercera parte de un hin con cada carnero, y la cuarta parte de un hin con cada cordero. Éste es el holocausto de cada mes por todos los meses del año. ^28:15Y un macho cabrío en expiación se ofrecerá a Jehová, además del holocausto continuo con su libación.

^28:16Pero en el mes primero, a los catorce del mes será la Pascua de Jehová.

^28:17Y a los quince días de este mes, la solemnidad de Pan Ácimo; por siete días se comerán los panes sin levadura. ^28:18El primer día será santa convocación; ninguna obra servil haréis, ^28:19y ofreceréis por ofrenda encendida en holocausto a Jehová dos becerros de la vacada, y un carnero, y siete corderos de un año: sin defecto los tomaréis; ^28:20y su presente de harina amasada con aceite: tres décimas con cada becerro, y dos décimas con cada carnero ofreceréis; ^28:21con cada uno de los siete corderos ofreceréis una décima; ^28:22y un macho cabrío por expiación, para reconciliaros. ^28:23Esto ofreceréis además del holocausto de la mañana, que es el holocausto continuo. ^28:24Conforme a esto ofreceréis cada uno de los siete días, vianda y ofrenda encendida en olor grato a Jehová; se ofrecerá además del holocausto continuo, con su libación. ^28:25Y el séptimo día tendréis santa convocación: ninguna obra servil haréis.

^28:26Además el día de las primicias, cuando ofreciereis presente nuevo a Jehová en vuestras semanas, tendréis santa convocación: ninguna obra servil haréis. ^28:27Y ofreceréis en holocausto, en olor de suavidad a Jehová, dos becerros de la vacada, un carnero, siete corderos de un año; ^28:28y el presente de ellos, flor de harina amasada con aceite, tres décimas con cada becerro, dos décimas con cada carnero, ^28:29con cada uno de los siete corderos una décima; ^28:30un macho cabrío, para hacer expiación por ustedes. ^28:31Los ofreceréis, además del holocausto continuo con sus presentes, y sus libaciones: sin defecto los tomaréis.

^29:1Y el séptimo mes, al primer día del mes tendréis santa convocación: ninguna obra servil haréis; os será día de sonar las trompetas. ^29:2Y ofreceréis holocausto en olor grato a Jehová, un becerro de la vacada, un carnero, siete corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:3y el presente de ellos, de flor de harina amasada con aceite, tres décimas con cada becerro, dos décimas con cada carnero, ^29:4y con cada uno de los siete corderos, una décima; ^29:5y un macho cabrío por expiación, para reconciliaros; ^29:6además del holocausto del mes, y su presente, y el holocausto continuo y su presente, y sus libaciones, conforme a su ley, por ofrenda encendida a Jehová en olor grato.

^29:7Y en el día diez de este mes séptimo tendréis santa convocación, y afligiréis vuestras almas; ninguna obra haréis; ^29:8y ofreceréis en holocausto a Jehová en olor grato, un becerro de la vacada, un carnero, siete corderos de un año; sin defecto los tomaréis. ^29:9Y sus presentes, flor de harina amasada con aceite, tres décimas con cada becerro, dos décimas con cada carnero, ^29:10y con cada uno de los siete corderos, una décima; ^29:11un macho cabrío por expiación; además de la ofrenda de las expiaciones por el pecado, y del holocausto continuo, y de sus presentes, y de sus libaciones.

^29:12También a los quince días del mes séptimo tendréis santa convocación; ninguna obra servil haréis, y celebraréis solemnidad a Jehová por siete días.

^29:13Y ofreceréis en holocausto, en ofrenda encendida a Jehová en olor grato, trece becerros de la vacada, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año: han de ser sin defecto; ^29:14y los presentes de ellos, de flor de harina amasada con aceite, tres décimas con cada uno de los trece becerros, dos décimas con cada uno de los dos carneros, ^29:15y con cada uno de los catorce corderos, una décima; ^29:16y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, su presente y su libación. ^29:17Y el segundo día, doce becerros de la vacada, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año sin defecto. ^29:18Y sus presentes y sus libaciones con los becerros, con los carneros, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley; ^29:19y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, y su presente y su libación. ^29:20Y el día tercero, once becerros, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:21y sus presentes y sus libaciones con los becerros, con los carneros, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley; ^29:22y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, y su presente y su libación. ^29:23Y el cuarto día, diez becerros, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:24sus presentes y sus libaciones con los becerros, con los carneros, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley; ^29:25y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, su presente y su libación. ^29:26Y el quinto día, nueve becerros, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:27y sus presentes y sus libaciones con los becerros, con los carneros, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley; ^29:28y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, su presente y su libación. ^29:29Y el sexto día, ocho becerros, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:30y sus presentes y sus libaciones con los becerros, con los carneros, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley. ^29:31Y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, su presente y sus libaciones. ^29:32Y el séptimo día, siete becerros, dos carneros, catorce corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:33y sus presentes y sus libaciones con los becerros, con los carneros, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley; ^29:34y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, con su presente y su libación. ^29:35El octavo día tendréis solemnidad: ninguna obra servil haréis: ^29:36y ofreceréis en holocausto, en ofrenda encendida de olor grato a Jehová, un novillo, un carnero, siete corderos de un año sin defecto; ^29:37sus presentes y sus libaciones con el novillo, con el carnero, y con los corderos, según el número de ellos, conforme a la Ley; ^29:38y un macho cabrío por expiación; además del holocausto continuo, con su presente y su libación.

^29:39Estas cosas ofreceréis a Jehová en vuestras solemnidades, además de vuestros votos, y de vuestras ofrendas libres, para vuestros holocaustos, y para vuestros presentes, y para vuestras libaciones y para vuestras ofrendas de paz’”. ^29:40Y Moisés dijo a los hijos de Israel, conforme a todo lo que Jehová le había mandado.
