^45:14“Thus says Jehovah: ‘The labor of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours. They shall come after you; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down to you. They shall make supplication to you, saying, ‘Surely God is in you, and there is no other: there is no other God.’”

^45:15“Truly you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior.”

^45:23“‘I have sworn by myself, the Word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear. ^45:24‘Surely,’ shall one say, ‘in Jehovah have I righteousness and strength.’ To him shall all mankind come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

^45:25“‘In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.’”

^46:1“‘Bel bows down; Nebo stoops; their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle. Your carriages were heavily loaded; they were a burden to the weary beast. ^46:2They stoop; they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves went into captivity.

^46:3“‘Listen to me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel (which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb, ^46:4and even to your old age I am he; and even to gray hairs will I carry you), ‘I have made you, and I will carry you; even I will carry you, and will deliver you.’”

^46:5“‘To whom will you liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like? ^46:6They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he makes it a god; they fall down; yea, they worship. ^46:7They bear him upon the shoulder; they carry him, and set him in his place; and he stands. He shall not move from his place; moreover, one shall cry to him, yet he cannot answer, nor save him out of his trouble.

^46:8“‘Remember this, and show yourselves men; bring it again to mind, O you transgressors. ^46:9Remember the former things of old: for I am the true God, and there is no other; I am the true God, and there is no one like me, ^46:10declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure’: ^46:11calling a ravenous bird from the east, and the man that executes my counsel from a far country; moreover, I have spoken it, and I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, and I will also do it.

^46:12“‘Listen to me, you stouthearted, that are far from righteousness: ^46:13I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far away, and my salvation shall not delay; and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.’”

^47:5“‘Sit silent, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called, ‘The lady of kingdoms.’ ^47:6I was angry with my people; therefore I polluted my inheritance, and gave them into your hand; but you showed them no mercy: upon the ancient have you very heavily laid your yoke. ^47:7And you said, ‘I shall be a lady forever’, so that you did not lay these things to your heart; neither did you remember its latter end.’”

They shall come upon you in their perfection because of the multitude of your sorceries, and because of the great abundance of your witchcraft.

^47:10“‘For you have trusted in your wickedness; you have said, ‘No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge, it has perverted you; and you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no other beside me.’

^47:11“‘Therefore evil shall come upon you; you shall not know from where it arises. And mischief shall fall upon you; you shall not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know.’”

^47:12“‘Stand now with your witchcraft, and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth, if perhaps you shall be able to profit: if perhaps you may prevail. ^47:13You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from these things that shall come upon you.

^47:14“‘Behold, they shall be as stubble, and the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. ^47:15Thus shall they be to you with whom you have labored, even your merchants, from your youth; they shall wander everyone to his quarter, and no one shall save you.’”

^48:1“Hear this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and have come forth out of the waters of Judah (which swear by the Name of Jehovah, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness: ^48:2for they call themselves of the holy city, and rely upon the God of Israel: Jehovah of hosts is his Name): ^48:3‘I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

^48:4“‘Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow bronze, ^48:5I have even from the beginning declared it to you; before it came to pass I showed it to you, lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them; and my carved image and my molten image has commanded them.’”

^48:6“‘You have heard; see all this; and will not you declare it? I have shown you new things from this time: even hidden things, and you did not know them. ^48:7They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when you did not hear them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’

^48:8“‘Indeed, you did not hear; moreover, you did not know; moreover, from that time your ear was not opened: for I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb. ^48:9For my Name's sake will I defer my anger, and for my praise will I refrain for you, that I do not cut you off.

^48:10“‘Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction. ^48:11For my own sake, even for my own sake, will I do it: for how should my Name be polluted? And I will not give my glory to another.’”

^47:11“‘Por tanto vendrá sobre ti mal, que no sabrás ni de dónde vino; caerá sobre ti quebrantamiento, el cual no podrás remediar; y destrucción que no sabrás, vendrá de repente sobre ti’”.

^47:12“‘De pie ahora con tu brujería, y con la multitud de tus hechizos, en los cuales te fatigaste desde tu niñez; quizá podrás mejorarte, quizá prevalecerás. ^47:13Te has fatigado en la multitud de tus consejos. Comparezcan ahora y te defiendan los astrólogos, los contempladores de las estrellas, los que cuentan los meses, para pronosticar lo que vendrá sobre ti.

^47:14“‘He aquí que serán como tamo; fuego los quemará, no salvarán sus vidas del poder de la llama; no quedará brasa para calentarse, ni lumbre a la cual se sienten. ^47:15Así te serán aquellos con quienes te fatigaste, los que han negociado contigo desde tu juventud; cada uno se irá por su camino, no habrá quien te salve’”.

Jehová de los ejércitos es su Nombre), ^48:3‘Lo que pasó, ya antes lo dije; y de mi boca salió; lo publiqué, lo hice presto, y vino a ser.

^48:4“‘Por cuanto yo sabía que eres obstinado, y tendón de hierro tu cerviz, y tu frente de bronce, ^48:5te lo dije desde el principio; antes que sucediese te lo mostré, para que no dijeses, ‘Mi ídolo lo hizo, mis imágenes de escultura y de fundición mandaron estas cosas’”.

^48:6“‘Lo oíste, lo viste todo; ¿y no lo anunciaréis ustedes? Ahora, pues, te he hecho oír cosas nuevas y ocultas que tú no sabías. ^48:7Ahora han sido creadas, no en días pasados; ni antes de este día las habías oído, para que no digas, ‘He aquí que yo lo sabía’.

^48:8“‘Sí, nunca lo habías oído, ni nunca lo habías conocido; ciertamente no se abrió antes tu oído: porque yo sabía que habrías de ser desleal, por tanto, desde el vientre has sido llamado rebelde. ^48:9Por amor de mi Nombre diferiré mi furor, y para alabanza mía me refrenaré, para no talarte.

^48:10“‘He aquí te he purificado, y no como a plata; te he escogido en horno de aflicción. ^48:11Por mi propio bien, incluso por mi propio bien, yo lo haré: porque ¿cómo debe estar contaminado mi Nombre? Y no daré mi gloria a otro’”.

^48:17“Así dice Jehová, tu Redentor, el Santo de Israel, ‘Soy Jehová Dios, que te enseña para provecho, que te conduce por el camino en que debes andar.

^48:18“‘¡Oh si hubieras atendido a mis Mandamientos! Entonces tu paz habría sido como un río, y tu justicia como las ondas del mar. ^48:19Tu simiente también habría sido como la arena, y los renuevos de tus entrañas como los granos de arena; su nombre nunca sería cortado, ni raído de mi presencia’”.

^48:20“‘Salid de Babilonia, huid de entre los caldeos.

“‘Con voz de canto, declaradlo: publicadlo, dilo incluso hasta el fin de la tierra; decid, ‘Jehová ha redimido a su siervo Jacob’.

^48:21“‘Y no tuvieron sed cuando él los llevó por los desiertos; él hizo brotar las aguas de la roca; partió la peña, y fluyeron las aguas. ^48:22No hay paz’, dice Jehová, ‘a los malvados’”.
